(click here for subdivision search) - That's what this site is about. When we look for a home our first consideration is usually, and arguably should be, the neighborhood. Many people choose the neighborhood first and then look for suitable homes in the neighborhoods they have selected. The style of the homes and overall pride of ownership shown in the community, desire to live with economic peers, convenience to schools, shopping, bay bridge etc. and the amenities that the neighborhood offers like waterfront homes or water access or room for horses - lots of kids to play with your kids or active adults whose kids are mostly grown. It all starts with the neighborhood. This is the only site where you can see profiles of all the neighborhoods, learn what each neighborhood has to offer, what neighborhoods are similar to one another, and then search for homes in the neighborhoods you like. Click on the "EASTERN SHORE NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE". Numbered maps and information paragraphs help you to quickly locate and learn about all the neighborhoods on the "shore". You won't find this anywhere else. The little icons tell you at a glance what the standout features of the neighborhood are. The neighborhood information you'll find is not the soul-less result of some downloaded demographic study, so typical of most websites, but was compiled and written, one neighborhood at a time, by me - a realtor living and working in these neighborhoods for 13 years with children who went to these schools and who actually knows a lot of the residents. Scroll through "The Eastern Shore Neighborhood Guide" to the areas that interest you. Click the "Recently Sold" link to see the asking, sold & original prices of all recently sold homes organized alphabetically by neighborhood, to learn what the homes currently for sale might actually be worth. You won't believe how helpful a simple list of homes sold, organized this way can be. Print out the stuff you want and carry it with you when you visit the "shore". Most people are finding "THE NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE" to be really indispensable. SEARCH FOR "HOMES FOR SALE" IN SPECIFIC NEIGHBORHOODS:
Click the "Subdivision search" tab. Enter the name of the neighborhood you want in the "Subdivision" box and click search. On page 19 of the "Guide" you will find the names of neighborhoods that are similar to one another. Be sure to do a subdivision search for the matching neighborhoods.
Detailed descriptions and multiple photographs, virtual tours and "schedule a showing appointment" can be found for all the homes.
1. PROPERTY SEARCH enables you to find homes in many ways by map, zip code, city or town and any other way you can think of.
2.If you're not sure which county a town or area is in, here are some hints: QUEEN ANNE includes Kent Island, Stevensville, Chester, Grasonville, Queenstown and Centreville. CAROLINE includes Denton, Ridgely, Preston and Greensboro. TALBOT includes Easton, Oxford, St. Michaels. DORCHESTER for Cambridge and beyond. KENT includes Chestertown and Rock Hall.
4. Click on a town name. To find out what neighborhoods are in what towns use the"Eastern Shore Neighborhood Guide " links on this page.
5. If you like you can select a price range, number of bedrooms and/or baths or nearly any other criteria for the home of your choice - go to the bottom of the page and click SEARCH and"voila"you will have all of the homes currently in the real estate marketplace. Up to date!
